Setup your Builder Base

To set up the builder base you’ll need to power it on using a micro usb cable or using the coin cell battery.
After you powered on your Builder Base you should see the led inside the Base to start blinking in a regular pattern.

Navigate to Clients in your Central Core Web-interface.

Inside the Clients View you should see two tabs: Paired and Unpaired.
The Paired Tab shows you all the clients, which are currently paired with the systems. This includes clients which derive from gateways.

The unpaired clients however strictly represents Builder Bases.

Since you have not connected the Builder Base yet navigate to the unpaired clients.

You should see a list similar to this one. If you have multiple Builder Bases unpaired at the same either power them off selectively to be able to keep them apart or connect all of them and identify them afterwards.

Select the three dots and select Pair. The Central Core tries to connect to the Builder Base now:

Once this is finished you’ll get another popup giving you the option to setup the Builder Base. Select setup and give your Builder Base a name to remember it easier. You also have the option to define a location inside your home here.

The Builder Base should now be removed from the unpaired client sand be shown with the paired clients. Verify that you identify the Builder Base using the actions. The Builder Base flashes green and red.

You successfully connected a Builder Base to your central core.
