Connect the Central Core to Wifi

Once you unpacked your server make sure to supply it with power using the supplied power adapter. The power led (blue) should be light up as soon as the Central Core is powered. Shortly after that you should see the startup led pattern ( 2 green blinks).

The initial start of the system might take around 5-10 minutes. Once the system is booted you should see a green led blinking once a second.

Now you should be able to see a WiFi network called “Quantum Setup”:

Once you see this WiFi Network connect to it and open the sign in dialog. This is also a good to note down the serial

If you don’t see the the dialog as seen in the second picture open the web browser and manually navigate to http://192.168.42.1.

After you selected the WiFi network name and entered the WiFi password click “Continue” a dialog will open informing you about the various status LEDs. Hit Connect & Save to connect to the WiFi.

The Central Core will now try to connect to the WiFi network. If this fails the “Quantum Setup” WiFi network will come back up again and you can retry connecting to your WiFi.

If you see 2 amber blinks, you are connected to the WiFi and are ready for setting up the Central Core.
