Introduction

Apps need to be started in order to be executed and some require additional configuration if you are leveraging any type of hardware together with the Q-Client. Multiple Apps can run at the same time and can access and control the same hardware if necessary.


Apps Screen (Recommended)

Start

To start an app from the apps view click the play button on the app that you would like to start. If your app includes hardware objects you will have to complete the application mapping.

Once finished with the mapping you can hit Save + Run and you app will start.

Stop

To stop a running app click the stop button.


App Builder

Apps can also be started and stopped from within the App Builder, which enables quicker debugging.

The representation and functionality of the start / stop button is the same as shown above.

Be aware that the app get’s started without opening the application mapping. In case you need to complete or adjust your application mapping please use the method above for starting your app.
